This Privacy Policy describes how AlogbooK ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application (the "App").

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Data You Provide

AlogbooK allows you to store and manage your flight logbook data, including:

• Flight entries (aircraft, crew, duration, routes, etc.)
• SIM session records
• Licence information and expiry dates
• Statistics and analytics data

This data is stored locally on your device and, if you enable iCloud Sync (Premium feature), in your iCloud account.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

AlogbooK does not collect or transmit any user data automatically. The app operates entirely offline except for:

• Subscription Status: We receive only your subscription status from Apple's StoreKit to enable Premium features. We do not receive payment information.
• Airport Data: The app may download public airport database information from OurAirports (https://ourairports.com) to provide airport lookup functionality. This is public data, not personal information.

Note: If you have enabled crash reporting in your iOS device settings, Apple may collect crash reports automatically. This is controlled by your device settings, not by AlogbooK.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide the App's functionality (all processing happens locally on your device)
• Enable Premium features based on your subscription status
• Sync your data across devices (only if you enable iCloud Sync)

We do not:

• Track your usage or behavior
• Collect analytics data
• Share your logbook data with third parties
• Use your data for advertising or marketing

3. Data Storage and Security

3.1 Local Storage

Your logbook data is stored locally on your iOS device using secure storage mechanisms provided by Apple. This data remains on your device unless you choose to enable iCloud Sync.

3.2 iCloud Sync (Premium Feature)

If you enable iCloud Sync, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit service. This data is:

• Encrypted in transit and at rest
• Stored in your personal iCloud account
• Subject to Apple's iCloud Terms and Conditions
• Accessible only to devices signed in to your Apple ID

We do not have access to your iCloud data. Only you and devices signed in to your Apple ID can access this data.

3.3 Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal logbook data to third parties. We do not share your data with any third-party services.

Your data may be accessed only in the following circumstances:

• Apple Services: Subscription purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive only your subscription status (active/inactive), not payment information.
• iCloud (if enabled): If you enable iCloud Sync, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account. This data is encrypted and accessible only to you and devices signed in to your Apple ID. We do not have access to this data.
• Legal Requirements: We may be required to disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal requests. However, since your data is stored locally on your device (or in your iCloud account), we would not have access to it unless you provide it.

We do not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or crash reporting services.

5. Your Rights and Choices

5.1 Access and Control

You have the right to:

• Access your data through the App
• Export your data in CSV or PDF format
• Delete your data by deleting entries or uninstalling the App
• Disable iCloud Sync at any time in Settings

5.2 Data Deletion

You can delete your data at any time:

• Delete individual entries within the App
• Delete all data using the "Erase All Data" option in Settings
• Uninstall the App (local data will be deleted)
• Disable iCloud Sync and delete data from iCloud through your iCloud settings

6. Children's Privacy

AlogbooK is rated 4+ on the App Store and is suitable for users of all ages. Since the app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information, there are no privacy concerns specific to children.

All data entered into the app is stored locally on the device (or in the user's personal iCloud account if sync is enabled). Parents or guardians should be aware that if a child uses the app, any flight logbook data entered will remain on the device and will not be transmitted to us or any third parties.

If you have concerns about a child's use of the app, you can delete all data through the app's Settings or by uninstalling the app.

7. Subscription and Payment Information

Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. We receive only:

• Confirmation of whether your subscription is active or inactive
• The product ID of your subscription (monthly or yearly)

We do not receive or store:

• Your payment information (credit card, payment method, etc.)
• Your billing address
• Your email address (unless you contact us directly)
• Any other personal or financial information

All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. You can manage subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings in the App Store.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

9. International Data Transfers

If you use iCloud Sync, your data may be stored and processed in servers located outside your country of residence. This data is subject to Apple's iCloud Terms and Conditions and applicable data protection laws.

11. Third-Party Data Sources

AlogbooK uses the following third-party data sources:

• OurAirports Database: The app may download public airport data from OurAirports (https://ourairports.com) to provide airport lookup functionality. This is publicly available airport information (ICAO codes, coordinates, names) and does not contain any personal information.

This airport data is used only for lookup purposes and is not associated with your personal logbook entries.

This Privacy Policy is designed to comply with:

• General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users in the European Union
• California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) for users in California
• Apple's App Store Review Guidelines

Since AlogbooK does not collect, transmit, or share user data, it inherently provides strong privacy protection. Your logbook data remains on your device (or in your personal iCloud account if you enable sync) and is never transmitted to our servers or third-party services.
