Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the AlogbooK mobile application (the "App") operated by AlogbooK ("we", "us", or "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using AlogbooK, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

AlogbooK is a digital logbook application designed for pilots to track flights, SIM sessions, and licences. The App provides:

  • Flight entry and tracking capabilities
  • SIM session recording
  • Licence expiry monitoring
  • Statistics and analytics
  • Data import and export functionality
  • Premium features including iCloud sync (subscription required)

3. Use of the App

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use AlogbooK. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

3.2 User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the App only for lawful purposes
  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Maintain the security of your device and Apple ID
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Not use the App to violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Not interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality

3.3 Data Accuracy

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of all data entered into AlogbooK. We are not responsible for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in your logbook entries. It is your responsibility to verify all information before using it for official purposes.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Premium Subscription

AlogbooK offers a Premium subscription that provides access to additional features including iCloud sync, unlimited entries, and advanced statistics. Subscription plans are available on a monthly or yearly basis.

4.2 Payment Processing

All subscription payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to Apple's payment terms and conditions. We do not process or store your payment information.

4.3 Subscription Terms

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • You will be charged the subscription fee to your Apple ID account within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings
  • No refunds will be provided for the current subscription period if cancelled mid-period

4.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time. Price changes will be communicated in advance, and you will have the opportunity to cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect.

5. Free Trial

If we offer a free trial period, it will be clearly stated. At the end of the free trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial period ends.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
  • Use our trademarks or logos without permission
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the App. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process and store your data as necessary to provide the service.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of AlogbooK is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

AlogbooK is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Defects will be corrected
  • The App is free of viruses or other harmful components
  • The App will meet your specific requirements

Important: AlogbooK is a tool to help you maintain your logbook, but you are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all entries. We are not responsible for any consequences resulting from errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in your logbook data.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the App
  • Any errors or omissions in the App
  • Any loss or corruption of data
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of your data

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause or notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

You may stop using the App at any time. If you have a subscription, you must cancel it through your Apple ID account settings to avoid future charges.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts of [Your Jurisdiction].

14. Severability

17. Apple-Specific Terms

The following terms apply to users who download AlogbooK from the Apple App Store:

  • These Terms are between you and us, not Apple
  • Apple is not responsible for the App or its content
  • Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the App
  • In the event of any failure of the App, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if applicable)
  • Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability claims, consumer protection claims, or intellectual property infringement claims
  • You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the App
